The Elbert County Comprehensive High School Anchor Club is holding a Breast Cancer Awareness Walk/Run Saturday, Oct. 27 at 9 a.m. and proceeds will be going to 3D mammography at Elbert Memorial Hospital. Registration begins at 8 a.m.
Participants will receive a t-shirt, medal, and goody bag at the finish. Most pink and coolest t-shirt designs will receive a special award.
Businesses are invited to sponsor a mile for the Get Your Pink On walk/run. Businesses are asked to sponsor walkers for $50 a mile.
