The Elbert County Library's November events calendar is beginning to fill.
Starting Thursday, Nov. 8 at 5 p.m. and following through Tuesday, Nov. 13 during regular business hours, the Friends of the Elbert County Library will hold its Annual Fall Book Sale.
Hardback and larger trade paperbacks along with audio books are $1 each. Small mass market paperbacks, children's books and DVDs are 25 cents.
On Sunday, Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. local historian, author and University of North Georgia professor Clay Ouzts will be discussing his newest book "Showdown in the South: Jimmy Carter and the 1976 Florida Democratic Primary." The discussion is being sponsored by The Stephen Heard Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Please call the library if you plan to attend, 706-283-5375.
Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 4 p.m. Dr. Bridget Walsh will present the first of a series of programs concerning achieving your "best weight."
